The hut has a small gas cooking area and a fire, but no running water;
Toilet is in the bigger alpine hut with separate access.
Ideal for nature lovers who want to experience Alpine farming with cows, chickens, dogs, and cats. Enjoy fresh milk and cheese straight from the alps.
If you would like to climb Flüelen's local mountain, Rophaien, at 2,078 metres above sea level after breakfast, you can do so in about 1.5 hours on the blue and white marked mountain trail with some exposed but well-secured sections.
Alp Schön Chulm can be reached in four different ways:
